I’m Effie, but hardly anyone calls me Iphigenia (except my mythological father Agamemnon who sacrificed me to the ocean sirens so he could sail on past. Rude.) And my real father too. But Iphigenia means strong-born or born of strength. So that’s cool.

The past few years I have enjoyed being on some industry Juries from One Show Asia, AWARD Award and AWARD School application jury & final folio jury. I’ve reviewed industry campaigns in the October edition of the AdNews Magazine. Completed The Ad Council’s AWARD’s Creative Leadership Course and love mentoring younger creatives to pass on the ins and outs I’ve learnt since being in the Production & Advertising industry for more than 13 years.

Work I love to make is insightful, memorable and looks f*kn cool.

Being on set and on shoots is my favourite part of the job, and you can get a sneak peak of my collection of BTS pics in the Gallery above.

MTV music videos are always playing in the background on my WFH days, yes I talk with my hands and yes I have a big fat Greek-Cypriot family with big fat greek cooking skills. Baked Greek Easter treats may appear in the office when we celebrate…four weeks after Aussie Easter. Kinda like Christmas in July.

I’m all things art & design; music & dance; pilates & cooking; and anything in between that sparks my creative soul.

Won B&T’s 30 under 30 in 2018, was accepted into and am an alumni of Semi Permanent’s Rare Sydney Masterclass and have tutored AWARD school multiple times. I love mentoring new upcoming talent and aim to help out anyone in the industry who has lateral, kooky thinking - like I was mentored by the awesome people who I now call great friends.
